Kona throws a one two combo.
Kona scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kona has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
adams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kona counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
adams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kona just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kona lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
adams is looking to control Kona's arms but Kona gets an underhook and turns him. Now adams has his back to the cage.
A head punch on the inside from adams fails to land.
adams is trying to drag Kona to the mat but Kona just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for paul adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee calls for Kona to work.
Kona breaks the clinch.
adams throws a leg kick
and Kona counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee asks Kona politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kona prefers to stall for the moment though.
adams is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Kona grinds an elbow into adams's temple.
Kona controls the position.
Kona has an Americana. adams didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kona is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kona hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
