Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Can (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for The Can has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, The Can! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Drake! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drake tries to score a power double leg takedown but Can sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drake somewhat. Drake thuds a left hand into Can's body. Can misses with a left hand and Drake counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Can has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A swing and a miss from Drake. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Drake has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Can displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Drake throws out the jab. Can misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drake.
Can tries to sprawl but Drake drives through with a takedown into half guard. Drake is working for a submission of some sort.
Drake passes the guard and advances to mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Can tries to hold on but Drake postures up. Drake controlling the position easily from mount. Can knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drake on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Can wants to control but Drake is having none of it. Drake raining down hammerfists from mount. Drake controlling from the full mount. Drake landing shots from mount. Drake lands a couple of good shots and Can has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Drake is working the ground and pound. Can Can escape?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drake has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Can! Can he survive? No! He's out! Drake gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
