The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearse misses with a wild body shot.
Pearse with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Chernov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pearse.
Chernov connects with a nice looking jab.
Pearse punishes Chernov's body with a nice straight punch.
Pearse slips under a jab.
Chernov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chernov lands with a kick to the ribs.
Pearse pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pearse connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pearse walks forward, straight into a front kick from Chernov.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A solid leg kick lands there for Chernov.
Pearse closes the distance but Chernov moves to the side
and Chernov counters with a solid body kick.
Pearse is breathing heavily.
Pearse tries to close the distance and clinch but Chernov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chernov scores with a nice strike.
Pearse misses with a body punch
and Chernov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pearse lands a glancing blow to the side of Chernov's head.
Chernov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Adamh Pearse has been cut.
Chernov drops Pearse with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pearse looks back up at him and smiles so Chernov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Chernov has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Chernov shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Pearse takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Chernov sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Pearse bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergey Chernov!
