Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carmelo Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wendell Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sailor has chosen Blackalicious - It's Going Down as his entrance music. Carmelo Lawrence could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wendell Sailor's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carmelo Lawrence!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
26 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wendell Sailor!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailor tries to land a front kick but Lawrence steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lawrence takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sailor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lawrence takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sailor swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Lawrence holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sailor landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Sailor just leaning against Lawrence, taking a breather.
Lawrence tries to throw a body punch but Sailor avoids it by throwing Lawrence back against the cage.
Sailor lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lawrence jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sailor walks away with a smile on his face. Lawrence gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sailor keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Carmelo Lawrence has been cut.
Lawrence seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sailor lands a nice hook to Lawrence's body. Lawrence takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice straight punches there by Sailor. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sailor.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sailor lands with an overhand left.
Sailor connects with a nice cross there... Lawrence is looking wobbly and Sailor recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lawrence to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Sailor jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Wendell Sailor!
An out of breath Wendell Sailor thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
