Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Ataides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tukuru Lemu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leandro Ataides!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tukuru Lemu!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemu waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ataides. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ataides to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Ataides is rocked!
It looks like Leandro Ataides has been cut.
Ataides wants to get back to his feet but Lemu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Oh Ataides is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ataides seems to have got his legs back now.
Ataides wants to get back to his feet but Lemu passes into half guard.
Ataides is looking to escape.
Lemu sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ataides wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ataides missing with a left hand there. Lemu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ataides closes the distance and clinches up with Lemu, looking for a takedown. Ataides pushes Lemu against the cage but Lemu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lemu Throws a clean left jab. Lemu Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Ataides's chin! Ataides crumbles to the ground and Lemu follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Lemu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tukuru Lemu!
Tukuru Lemu very nearly forgot to thank Backyard Fighting amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
