Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tero Elo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Saliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Elo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Helsinki City Boy. Tero Elo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tero Elo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saliva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Saliva has hold of Elo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Elo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Saliva has eaten all the pies!
Elo is desperately trying to improve his position but Saliva has a good base and remains in mount.
Saliva is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Elo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Elo working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Elo regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saliva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Elo is trying to get back to full guard.
Elo trying to hold on to Saliva's head to control him but Saliva postures up.
Saliva is looking to advance position but Elo won't allow it.
Elo is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Saliva pulls his head out easily.
Elo tries to roll over but Saliva keeps him under control.
Elo is breathing heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Elo preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Saliva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Saliva drops back looking for a leg! Elo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Elo manages to kick Saliva off! Saliva jumps back into Elo's guard.
Saliva wants to get up but he can't break Elo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Elo wants to sweep here but Saliva controlling him for the moment.

Saliva stands and throws Elo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Elo looking for a sweep but Saliva has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Elo tries to lock up and control but Saliva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Saliva manages to capitalize on a mistake by Elo to take his back!
Elo rolls, trying to escape but Saliva keeps control of the position.

Saliva doesn't have the hooks in and Elo manages to turn into his guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Elo wants to improve his position but Saliva is controlling well.

Saliva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Elo is just riding it out for now. Saliva eventually gives up the hold.
Saliva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Elo!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Elo tries to control the position but Saliva now has his back.
Elo tries to escape the position.
Saliva is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Elo knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Elo for a finish.
Saliva is trying to stick to Elo's back but Elo is turning into Saliva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Saliva's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Elo.
Elo trying to control the position from guard on top but Saliva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Elo throws a strike but Saliva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Elo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Elo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Elo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Saliva regains full guard. Nicely done.
Elo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saliva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Elo wants to control from the top but Saliva keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Elo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Saliva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Elo wants to control from the top but Saliva keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Saliva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Saliva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elo defends it well.
Saliva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Elo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Saliva.

Anderson Saliva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Anderson Saliva.
