Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Donato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Teller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Teller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Donato!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donato dives in and grabs Teller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Teller pushes down on Donato's head and hops out.
Donato shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Teller pinned against the cage. Teller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Teller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Donato misses with a takedown
and Teller counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Donato is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Jackson Teller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Donato.

Donato looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Teller looks like he's trying to stand up.
Donato not landing any meaningful shots this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donato thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Teller's head.

Donato postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Teller has momentary wrist control but Donato slips an elbow through the middle.
Donato postures up in Teller's guard and throws a big left but Teller blocks it.

Teller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Donato defends well.
Donato working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Donato content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Donato postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donato is in close to Teller's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Teller wants to stand but Donato is controlling the position.

Donato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Teller has his foot on Donato's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Donato works his way back into a safe position though.
