Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juha Nimmaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heiki Sagoras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heiki Sagoras is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Nimmaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Heiki Sagoras!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimmaki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sagoras to score with a decent uppercut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nimmaki is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Sagoras wants to get back to his feet.

Nimmaki gets back to his feet - a bit of a stange decision given the position he was in.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nimmaki has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Sagoras scores with a hook.
Nimmaki throws a head kick but Sagoras moves out of range.
Nimmaki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Heiki Sagoras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sagoras feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nimmakis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Sagoras throws a looping overhand right but Nimmaki ducks down to avoid it.

Sagoras might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Sagoras shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nimmaki eats them both and turns towards Sagoras to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sagoras takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sagoras felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Juha Nimmaki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

I would just about give that final round to Heiki Sagoras.
I think Sagoras has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
