Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 41 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Kaka Pheu Pheu!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pheu Pheu throws a hook but Kim avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Kim has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Kim on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pheu Pheu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kim momentarily.
Pheu Pheu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kim shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kim showed some decent athleticism there.

Kim moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pheu Pheu has worked his arm free - good work by Pheu Pheu!

Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pheu Pheu keeps working.
Kim is putting a hurting on Pheu Pheu here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pheu Pheu sneaks back into half guard.
Kim wants to pass the guard but Pheu Pheu is defending well.
Kim wants to take a breather but Pheu Pheu is having none of it.

Kim is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kim seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Pheu Pheu wants to control but Kim is keeping busy.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are battling for position here. Pheu Pheu manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim has gone for a leg lock! Pheu Pheu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kim's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A decent looking cross lands there for Kim.
Some bone on bone action there as Pheu Pheu checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Kim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pheu Pheu sprawls well. Pheu Pheu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kim gets slowly back to his feet.
Kim takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


It looks like Jin Kim has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Pheu Pheu as Kim shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pheu Pheu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kim.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Kim. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kim throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pheu Pheu was covering up waiting for the punch and Kim finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Pheu Pheu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kaka Pheu Pheu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Pheu Pheu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pheu Pheu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Kaka Pheu Pheu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jin Kim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kim closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kim lands in his opponent's guard.

Pheu Pheu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kim.

Kim goes for a double leg but Pheu Pheu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pheu Pheu continues to drive forward.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pheu Pheu tries to throw a body punch but Kim avoids it by throwing Pheu Pheu back against the cage.

Pheu Pheu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kaka Pheu Pheu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pheu Pheu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
