Melo's entrance music is Fort Minor - Remember the name. A fine choice. Stupka has chosen Red Army March as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stupka tries to move into range but Melo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Rocco Stupka has been cut.
Stupka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Melo was well out of range. Poor timing from Stupka.
Stupka jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've been informed that Stupka has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Melo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Stupka throws a hook to the side of Melo's head but Melo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Stupka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Melo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Melo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stupka. That did some damage!

Stupka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stupka lunges at Melo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Melo's hand.

Melo lands with a right hand.
Melo moves away from the strike by Stupka.
Stupka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Melo.
The crowd cheers as Melo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stupka doesn't seem phased though.
Stupka takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

That has opened up Rocco Stupka's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stupka throws a low kick, looking for Melo's leg but Melo calmly moves out of range.
Stupka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
