Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clark Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Trap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clark Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Trap!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trap misses with a takedown attempt - Greene sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Trap blocks a head kick by Greene.
Greene throws a sloppy head kick and Trap moves out of range easily.

Greene fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Trap, pushing him back against the cage.
Greene lands a body punch in the clinch.
Greene misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Trap wants a takedown but no success here.
Greene doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Trap blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Greene tries to work over Trap's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Greene tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Trap's elbow.

Clark Greene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Trap.
Greene lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greene works on Trap's body with a couple of short punches.

Greene tightens his grip and picks Trap up, before dumping him to the ground. Trap manages to land in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trap can do anything to dispel that myth.

Greene is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trap is just riding it out for now. Greene eventually gives up the hold.

Trap is looking for a sweep. Greene is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Greene is nestled in close to Trap, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Greene looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Greene has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Greene with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Trap tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Greene connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Trap really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greene. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trap is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Greene is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Trap to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Trap shrugs it off.

Greene is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Trap can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Greene is trying to take his opponent's back.
Greene avoids the attempt from Trap to control.

Greene is working for a guillotine from mount but Trap frees his head quite easily.

Greene fails to move to back control.
Greene looking to ground and pound but Trap is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark Greene dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Greene tries a head kick but it misses.
Trap has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Greene is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Trap gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Greene to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Greene pushes down on Trap's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Greene passes the guard and advances to mount!
Trap is trying to escape the mount but Greene keeps good control and instead manages to take Trap's back.
Greene controlling well, preventing Trap from escaping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Greene is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Trap wants to escape the position.

Greene is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Trap is defending well though. Greene let's go of the attempt for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Clark Greene seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Jon Trap stepped up to the mic, saying 'its not my fault!'.
