Veil is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by My Plague. Josh Ingram has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veil changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Veil gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Veil tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ingram just stands there and leans against the cage.
Veil tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Veil is trying to break the clinch but Ingram is controlling him.
Ingram manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Veil looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Ingram had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Veil defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Veil throws a big right hand that misses.
Veil drops back looking for a leg! Ingram is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ingram manages to kick Veil off! Veil jumps back into Ingram's guard.

Ingram knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Veil on the ground.

Ingram is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Veil defends well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ingram fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Veil to the ground. Ingram is now in Veil's guard.
Veil is controlling Ingram's posture.
Veil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ingram won't allow Veil to sweep him here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Veil is on top in guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zack Veil will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Ingram feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Veil wants to sweep here but Ingram controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ingram accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ingram makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Veil controls Ingram momentarily but Ingram frees himself.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Veil has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ingram doesn't defend quickly enough and Veil has managed to lock this one up! Can Ingram escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Veil on a fantastic submission victory.
