Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Hashirama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Broken Sunday as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashirama tries to clinch up.
Diaz moves out of range of the leg kick from Hashirama.
Hashirama with a poor takedown
and Diaz moves into the clinch.
Hashirama tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Diaz works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Diaz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hashirama is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Diaz, into his guard.

Hashirama's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Diaz has his foot on Hashirama's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hashirama works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz pushes a forearm under Hashirama's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hashirama is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
