Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pieru will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Pieru throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petit's waist but Petit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pieru off to one side.

and Pieru counters with a single leg into guard. Petit didn't expect that.
Pieru gets to his feet. Petit looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Petit lands a left and a right that sends Pieru crashing to the canvas! Petit dives into mount looking to finish!
Pieru is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Petit postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Pieru badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Petit around the waist but Petit pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Petit is the winner by TKO! Petit jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
