The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Vasilyev blocks the leg kick.
Elekana lands with an overhand left.
Elekana stuffs the takedown attempt from Vasilyev. Vasilyev gets slowly back to his feet.
Vasilyev shoots in but no luck this time.

Vasilyev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Elekana defends well and Vasilyev ends up having to push Elekana into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Vasilyev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vasilyev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sergey Vasilyev spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
