The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandoza with a poor takedown
and Avilenkov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Avilenkov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mandoza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mandoza shoots for a takedown but Avilenkov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mandoza goes for a double leg but Avilenkov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Avilenkov continues to drive forward.

Mandoza jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Avilenkov walks away with a smile on his face. Mandoza gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
