Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Sigit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigit kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The S.I.G.I.T. - Provocateur. Hansen has chosen AC/DC - Big Gun as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Sigit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Hansen! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sigit eats them both and turns towards Hansen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like The Sigit has been cut. Hansen scores with a jab to the jaw. Sigit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hansen lands a two punch combo.
Sigit is rocked! Tim Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hansen stuffs the takedown. Sigit shoots in and bounces Hansen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hansen wants to sweep here but Sigit controlling him for the moment. Sigit trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hansen manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Sigit is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hansen controls from within his opponent's guard. Sigit looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hansen is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen trying to control but Sigit is working from the bottom. Hansen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hansen wants to control from the top but Sigit keeps moving. Sigit working for a triangle but Hansen defends it easily.
Hansen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sigit wants to control but Hansen passes easily into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sigit is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hansen is trying to control the action in half guard but Sigit is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hansen stalling. Sigit is staying active underneath Hansen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sigit gets back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Sigit trying to keep a closed guard but Hansen is proving a slippery customer.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hansen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hansen trying to control but Sigit is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hansen throws a nice looking combination but Sigit bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A left and a right from Hansen both land. Nice combination. Sigit darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sigit throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansen trying to control from the bottom.
Sigit working over Hansen with some ground and pound. Hansen looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sigit not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sigit pulls his head out easily. Sigit has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sigit lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sigit raining down hammerfists from mount. Hansen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Sigit is looking for a kimura here.
Sigit is thwarting Hansen's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tim Hansen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on The Sigit's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sigit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hansen avoids it really well and circles away. Hansen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sigit. Hansen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sigit is landing a low percentage of strikes. Hansen misses with a double jab
and Sigit counters with a shoot takedown. Hansen fights it but they end up in guard. Sigit postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sigit postures up in Hansen's guard and throws a big left but Hansen blocks it. Hansen trying to keep a closed guard but Sigit is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sigit with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sigit pushing down on Hansen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansen is staying active underneath Sigit, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hansen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sigit. Hansen trying to control from the bottom.

Sigit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The Sigit overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hansen tries to get to full guard but Sigit has control of the leg. Sigit passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hansen! Sigit lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sigit cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hansen manages to regain half guard. Good work. Sigit working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sigit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hansen keeps working. Sigit lands with a punch from half guard. Sigit prevents Hansen from improving his position. Hansen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sigit is working away from the top position though. Sigit looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hansen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sigit pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Sigit dominated that second round. The cut man is working on The Sigit's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hansen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Hansen scores with a jab to the jaw. Sigit throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hansen sees it coming and avoids it easily. A big right from Hansen misses. Sigit has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A right-left combo lands from Hansen. Hansen throws a hook but Sigit blocks it. Hansen misses with a wild combination.
Tim Hansen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sigit shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but Sigit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sigit looks for a takedown but Hansen sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Hansen as Sigit shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Sigit. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hansen throws a right hand that Sigit ducks under and follows up with a left that Sigit also avoids with ease. Hansen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hansen. Sigit looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hansen is fending him off so far but Sigit persists. Nope, Hansen circles away and we're back to standing. Hansen thuds his right hand into Sigit's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tim Hansen seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sigit walks into a straight right hand from Hansen. Hansen stalks Sigit and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sigit's face. Sigit staggers backwards, shaken. Sigit shoots in for a takedown but Hansen shows good takedown defense. Sigit dives in for a single leg takedown but Hansen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hansen tries to bum rush Sigit with a series of wild strikes but Sigit uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hansen misses with a jab, cross combination.

enabling Hansen to counter with a crisp jab. Hansen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sigit circles away quickly and effectively. Sigit half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hansen connects with a looping right hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sigit fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hansen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice sprawl there from Hansen as Sigit shoots in. Sigit closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hansen quickly recovers to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hansen regains full guard. Nicely done. Hansen trying to keep a closed guard but Sigit is proving a slippery customer.
Sigit throwing strikes but missing. Sigit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hansen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sigit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sigit makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Sigit is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sigit postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sigit wants to pass the guard but Hansen is keeping the position. Hansen is looking for a triangle but Sigit pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Tim Hansen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hansen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
