The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Flint.
Flint tries for a takedown but Verde sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Flint gets a takedown into half guard.
Verde is not content to let Flint control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Verde wants to control but Flint is keeping busy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Flint maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Verde could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Flint has cracked it and Verde is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Flint!
