Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Jyllendael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tubbins Stewfis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewfis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by like a hurricane!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tubbins Stewfis!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewfis misses with a straight left.
Stewfis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice body punch from Stewfis.
Stewfis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jyllendael's head.
Jyllendael moves forwards but Stewfis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Jake Jyllendael has been cut.
Tubbins Stewfis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stewfis swats away the attempt to clinch by Jyllendael.
Stewfis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jyllendael steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stewfis.
Jyllendael throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stewfis's waist but Stewfis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jyllendael off to one side.
Jyllendael closes the distance and clinches up with Stewfis, looking for a takedown. Jyllendael pushes Stewfis against the cage but Stewfis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stewfis misses with a hook. Jyllendael ducked under it nicely.
Stewfis throws a right hand that misses
and Jyllendael makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Stewfis leaves Jyllendael with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Jyllendael. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stewfis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Jyllendael tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jyllendael slips under a jab from Stewfis.
Jyllendael misses with a takedown attempt - Stewfis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jyllendael has been working on his balance at Bi-polar Asylum, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Stewfis.

Jyllendael is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stewfis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jyllendael uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stewfis.

Stewfis sizes up Jyllendael with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jyllendael takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Donk. Stewfis catches Jyllendael right on the button with a cross.
Stewfis blocks a head kick by Jyllendael.
Jyllendael tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Jyllendael counters with an outside leg kick.
Jyllendael moves into the clinch successfully.

Stewfis lands with a short head shot on the inside.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stewfis.
Jyllendael successfully pulls guard.
Jyllendael escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stewfis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jyllendael is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Stewfis frees his head nicely. Oh but Jyllendael has switched to an armbar! Stewfis is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A less than humble Jake Jyllendael misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
