Melkonian has chosen Artsakh Music as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melkonian misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rakic slaps away a takedown attempt from Melkonian, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Melkonian has a takedown stuffed.
Jozef Rakic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Monte Melkonian.
Melkonian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rakic but Rakic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Melkonian throws a nice looking combination but Rakic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rakic connects with an inside leg kick.
Melkonian shoots in looking for a takedown but Rakic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Melkonian's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooh a lovely combination from Rakic sends Melkonian down but not out. Rakic dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Monte Melkonian has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rakic stands up.
Rakic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rakic wants it to stay on the feet.

Melkonian is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Rakic Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Melkonian is out cold, face down on the mat!
