Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larsen has chosen Ennio Morricone - A Fistful Of Dollars as his entrance music. David James could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lars Larsen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lars Larsen! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. James stands and throws Larsen's legs to the side, diving into side control. James tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. James misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Larsen is trying to improve his position. Larsen is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Larsen is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larsen trying his best to control but James has mounted him. James takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. James looking to finish with strikes here!
Larsen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
It looks like Lars Larsen has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Larsen is wriggling around trying to escape.
James looking to control but Larsen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. James throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The cut above Lars Larsen's eye is starting to cause him problems now. James breaks from Larsen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lars Larsen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lars Larsen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). David James! David James was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
