The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poutala defending well as Durham loads up on a big left hand.
Durham gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Poutala to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Poutala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Durham swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Durham got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poutala has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durham has managed to get both his arms back between Poutala's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Durham accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Poutala has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Durham is working away from the top position though.
Durham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Poutala on the ground.
Poutala is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Durham's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Durham's back!
Durham turns into Poutala and is now in his guard.

Durham will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Poutala is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Durham defends well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Durham misses with a takedown attempt - Poutala sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Durham shoots and misses
and Poutala counters with a nice double leg into side control. Durham won't be happy with that.
Poutala misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Durham is pushing Poutala's head away, looking to escape. Poutala manages to hold on to the position though.
My spies in MMA Sanok Training Center inform me that Poutala has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Durham tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Poutala is working to tighten his grip on Durham's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Durham has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Poutala is really squeezing tight and eventually Durham passes out! Poutala breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
