Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adolf Ellenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellenberger has chosen Soldier as his entrance music. David Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adolf Ellenberger! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ellenberger tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance. Taylor drives through with a takedown into guard. Ellenberger is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ellenberger is looking to stand up but Taylor isn't so interested in that idea. Ellenberger feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Taylor s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Taylor throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ellenberger sees it coming and avoids it easily. Taylor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellenberger is staying active underneath Taylor , who seems content to just control the action from this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Taylor connects with a nice short shot to Ellenberger's temple. Ellenberger wants to improve his position but Taylor is controlling well.

Taylor feints and as Ellenberger raises his hands in defense, Taylor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Taylor stopping the sweep attempt from Ellenberger. Taylor is sitting in close to Ellenberger's body. Ellenberger has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Taylor is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Taylor is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ellenberger.
