The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vachon Ii instigates a clinch.
Vachon Ii lands a nice uppercut.
Vachon Ii misses with a hook to the ribs.
Vachon Ii has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Golovdy has a couple of punches blocked by Vachon Ii.
Vachon Ii working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Golovdy can't find room to land a body shot as Vachon Ii controls the action.
Vachon Ii lands a left hand.
Golovdy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Golovdy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

A frustrated look appears on Golovdy's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Golovdy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Vachon Ii lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Golovdy is trying to break the clinch but Vachon Ii has him pressed against the cage.
Golovdy takes a shot to the head.
Golovdy blocks a body shot from Vachon Ii.
Vachon Ii gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Golovdy regains guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vachon Ii gets to his feet and stands over Golovdy, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Golovdy felt that one! Vachon Ii unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Golovdy from any more punishment!
