The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash throws a sloppy head kick and McCurnin moves out of range easily.
Nash will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nash plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
McCurnin moves in looking to clinch but Nash pushes him off.

McCurnin looks to throw the jab but Nash is out of range.
McCurnin throws a right hand that Nash ducks under and follows up with a left that Nash also avoids with ease.
Nash throws a combination that misses
and McCurnin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McCurnin slips a jab and a cross from Nash.
Nash stalks McCurnin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McCurnin's face. McCurnin staggers backwards, shaken.
Nash goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCurnin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

McCurnin slips a jab and a cross from Nash.
McCurnin misses with a series of wild punches.

Nash throws a front kick that sends McCurnin stumbling back into the cage.

McCurnin is trying to push Nash away but Nash has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

McCurnin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nash's efforts to push away.
Nash is trying to force a seperation but McCurnin has the dominant position.

McCurnin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

McCurnin clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McCurnin gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Nash is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCurnin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCurnin's back!
