Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tolo Seia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seia comes into the arena with Limp Bizkit - Thieves blaring out of the sound system. Mousasi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Faded. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

31 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gegard Mousasi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousasi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mousasi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Gegard Mousasi has been cut.
A good leg kick by Seia.
Seia scores with a jab to the body.
Seia throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mousasi counters with a takedown into side control.
Mousasi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mousasi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Seia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mousasi on the ground.
Mousasi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Seia wants to control but Mousasi postures up.

Mousasi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seia tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mousasi happy to just control the position for now.
Seia is looking for a sweep.
Mousasi swings around for an armbar but Seia sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mousasi's guard.
Seia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mousasi keeping moving, preventing Seia from controlling successfully.

Mousasi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mousasi seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Seia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mousasi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Seia defends it easily.
Mousasi has a closed guard, preventing Seia from standing up.

Seia has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mousasi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Seia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Seia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mousasi is trying to control the position but Seia postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Seia throws a low kick but Mousasi avoids it.
Seia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Seia has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mousasi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Seia lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Seia works on Mousasi's body with a couple of short punches.

Mousasi takes a shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tolo Seia will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Gegard Mousasi's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Seia drops Mousasi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mousasi looks back up at him and smiles so Seia waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mousasi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A big left from Seia misses.
Mousasi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Seia.
Seia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mousasi misses with an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mousasi throws a lazy uppercut
and Seia counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mousasi! Seia lets Mousasi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Mousasi is rocked!
That has opened up Gegard Mousasi's cut even more.
Seia moves into the clinch successfully.
Mousasi is still on wobbly legs! Can Seia finish him?
Seia prevents the takedown attempt.
Seia misses with a hook from the clinch.
Seia swings wildly with an uppercut but Mousasi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mousasi seems to have recovered his senses.
Mousasi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The cut above Gegard Mousasi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Seia lands a shot to the body.
Mousasi is breathing heavily.
Seia scores with a shot to the side of Mousasi's head.
Seia fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seia scores with a hook to the body.
Seia tries a body shot but Mousasi blocks it.
Seia is working Mousasi over against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Seia scores with a nice short uppercut.
Seia is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mousasi can do to turn this around?
Seia lands a big right hand that drops Mousasi! The killer instinct kicks in and Seia finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Seia!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tolo Seia!
