The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makaaja shoots for a double leg takedown but Daross sprawls well. He's pushed Makaaja's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Daross appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Daross looks for the body kick but Makaaja saw that one coming.
Makaaja dives in and grabs Daross's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daross pushes down on Makaaja's head and hops out.

It looked like Daross was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daross, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
