Tarnowski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hemp Gru - Sami swoi . Stamatis has chosen Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamatis misses with a wild body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Tarnowski. No joy for Stamatis on that attempt.
Stamatis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stamatis avoids the body shot from Tarnowski.
Tarnowski misses with a wild combination.
Stamatis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tarnowski.
Tarnowski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tarnowski stuffs the takedown attempt from Stamatis. Stamatis gets slowly back to his feet.
Stamatis pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tarnowski is out of range and Stamatis settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tarnowski. Stamatis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stamatis lands a really nice looking cross but Tarnowski seems unphased.
A left and a right from Tarnowski both land. Nice combination.
Stamatis throws a push kick but Tarnowski slaps the foot to one side.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tarnowski, right into the meat.

Stamatis throws a looping overhand right but Tarnowski ducks down to avoid it.
Tarnowski lands a leg kick that knocks Stamatis off balance momentarily.
Tarnowski misses with a body shot.
Stamatis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tarnowski.
Tarnowski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tarnowski throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stamatis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Tarnowski is rocked!
Stamatis throws a shot to the body.
Oh Tarnowski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tarnowski throws a leg kick but Stamatis sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tarnowski bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Stamatis comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Tarnowski falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Tarnowski was out before he hit the floor!

Athan Stamatis was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
