The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcius moves into the clinch successfully.
Amsterdam has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Garcius is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Garcius is pressed up against the cage. Amsterdam has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Garcius down to the mat. Garcius avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Amsterdam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Garcius as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Amsterdam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Amsterdam tries to sprawl but Garcius drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Amsterdam is trying to maintain the position but Garcius is very close to passing his half guard.

Amsterdam tries to hold on but Garcius pushes him away.
Amsterdam is trying desperately to improve position.

Garcius lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Amsterdam! Garcius sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Amsterdam and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
