Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Tilthammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tilthammer has chosen Autumn - Suffer the wild dogs as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Lynch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
47 - 21 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Felix Tilthammer! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tilthammer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tilthammer throws a leg kick but Lynch moved away. Tilthammer looks to score with a jab to the body but Lynch is just out of range. Tilthammer misses with a low kick. Tilthammer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lynch counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Lynch throws a body shot but no joy. Tilthammer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Tilthammer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lynch was well out of range. Poor timing from Tilthammer. Lynch misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tilthammer slips a jab from Lynch. Lynch closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Felix Tilthammer has been cut. Lynch fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lynch throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tilthammer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tilthammer connects with a leg kick. Lynch looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Felix Tilthammer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lynch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tilthammer counters with a body kick that stops Lynch in his tracks momentarily. Lynch swings for the body but Tilthammer moves out of range.

Lynch sizes up Tilthammer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Lynch misses with the body kick and Tilthammer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lynch throws a body shot but no joy. That kick from Lynch tenderised Tilthammer's leg. Tilthammer is trying to keep his angry face on. Tilthammer throws a leg kick but Lynch checks it. and Lynch counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lynch sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tilthammer defending well though. Tilthammer wants to get back to his feet.
Lynch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Tilthammer tries to roll over but Lynch keeps him under control. Tilthammer trying to control here.
Tilthammer is looking for a sweep. Lynch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lynch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tilthammer is just riding it out for now. Lynch eventually gives up the hold. Lynch looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tilthammer wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tilthammer is refusing to be controlled, as Lynch sits in half guard. Tilthammer wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lynch throwing shots but Tilthammer is blocking nicely. Lynch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lynch wants to work for an arm triangle but Tilthammer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Lynch dominated that round. The cut man is working on Felix Tilthammer's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lynch moves into range and connects with a jab. Lynch seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Lynch wants to slow Tilthammer down by chopping away at his legs. Felix Tilthammer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lynch connects with a leg kick. Tilthammer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Tilthammer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Tilthammer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lynch. Tilthammer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lynch's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lynch duly obliges. Lynch bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Lynch moves away from the strike by Tilthammer. Tilthammer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lynch throws a push kick but Tilthammer slaps the foot to one side. Lynch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tilthammer is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lynch throws a leg kick but Tilthammer moved away. Lynch throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Lynch scores with a one two! Tilthammer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lynch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tilthammer sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lynch misses with a hook to the body
and Lynch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tilthammer lands a jab to the nose. Eric Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tilthammer misses with a head kick.

Lynch looks to land a left hand but Tilthammer moved out of range nicely. Lynch comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lynch avoids the head kick by Tilthammer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tilthammer thows a leg kick but Lynch checks it and Lynch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lynch. Tilthammer can't keep his opponent in guard - Lynch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lynch thows a huge punch but Tilthammer dodges it nicely.
Lynch is trying to control the action in half guard but Tilthammer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lynch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tilthammer can do to turn this around? Lynch throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tilthammer wants to get back to full guard but Lynch has passed into side control. Lynch scores with a couple of short elbows. A control attempt from Tilthammer but he's now mounted!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch controlling his opponent. A nice elbow there by Lynch. Lynch lands a big elbow. Tilthammer regains half guard. Lynch is looking to stall here but Tilthammer recovers full guard. Lynch postures up and lands a big shot to Tilthammer's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lynch has gone for a leg lock! Tilthammer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lynch's guard. Tilthammer controls from within his opponent's guard. Lynch is looking for a triangle but Tilthammer pushes his legs off easily.

Eric Lynch dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Felix Tilthammer's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lynch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tilthammer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lynch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tilthammer.
Tilthammer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lynch lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tilthammer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tilthammer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tilthammer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Tilthammer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tilthammer throws a nice looking combination but Lynch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lynch staying out of range there. Tilthammer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Lynch. Tilthammer does a little dance to reset his feet. Lynch takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tilthammer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tilthammer there as he acknowledges the shot. Lynch just misses with a punch to the body.
Lynch closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tilthammer's guard. Lynch with a flurry of punches that miss. Tilthammer looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lynch puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Lynch is trying to control. Tilthammer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tilthammer is trying to get back to full guard. Lynch is looking to stall here but Tilthammer recovers full guard. Lynch throws a big right hand that misses. Lynch lands a couple of elbows. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lynch trying to control but Tilthammer is working from the bottom. Lynch won't allow Tilthammer to sweep him here. Eric Lynch is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lynch scoring with punches to the head and body. Lynch tries to free his leg and advance position but Tilthammer is retaining full guard. Tilthammer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lynch. Lynch looking to sit in guard and control but Tilthammer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lynch controls Tilthammer momentarily but Tilthammer frees himself. Lynch pulls Tilthammer in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tilthammer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A big left from Tilthammer misses. Felix Tilthammer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tilthammer ducks under a wild hook from Lynch. A head kick misses from Tilthammer. An inside leg kick lands from Lynch. Lynch lands a nice shot that snaps Tilthammer's head back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lynch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lynch scores with a takedown into Tilthammer's guard. Lynch chips away with some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Lynch showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lynch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
