Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guido Gloom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Ship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guido Gloom is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guido Gloom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Psycho Ship ! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gloom delivers a nice body kick. Psycho Ship seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ship misses with a hook. Gloom ducked under it nicely. Ship takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gloom wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ship dives in and scores a takedown into Gloom's guard. Gloom working a defensive guard here.
Ship really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gloom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ship 's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gloom controls Ship momentarily but Ship frees himself. Gloom keeping full guard, as Ship tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gloom is looking for a triangle but Ship pushes his legs off easily.
Ship wants to control from the top but Gloom keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ship lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ship postures up.
Ship connects with a couple of short punches. Gloom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ship is one step ahead there. Ship is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Gloom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ship is aware though and is defending well. Ship pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gloom is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ship pushing down on Gloom's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Ship wants to free his trapped foot but Gloom is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ship is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gloom trying to control here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ship 's coach down at Ground Zero, Las Vegas (LOD) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ship 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ship is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gloom's half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gloom is pressing down on Ship 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ship trying to control but Gloom is working from the bottom. Ship throws a big right hand that misses. Ship looking to sit in guard and control but Gloom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gloom wants to control from the top but Ship keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ship seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gloom advances position into side control! Ship tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gloom wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ship is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Psycho Ship will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gloom slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Ship showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gloom.
Ship is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gloom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ship throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The crowd cheers as Ship lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gloom doesn't seem phased though. Gloom looks to score with a jab to the body but Ship is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ship misses with a right hand and Gloom counters with a lovely straight right hand! Gloom lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ship fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gloom avoids it really well and circles away. Gloom looks to score with a jab to the body but Ship is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gloom moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Psycho Ship has been cut. Ship takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gloom is looking to wear down Ship with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Gloom slips under a jab. Gloom just misses with a punch to the body.

Ship pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ship shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gloom manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gloom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ship can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ship scoring with punches to the head and body. Gloom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ship is one step ahead there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ship 's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gloom is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ship is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ship looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ship wants to control from the top but Gloom keeps moving. Ship content to stall in guard here. Gloom looking for a sweep. Not yet Gloom, not yet. Ship throws a strike but Gloom rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gloom wants to get up but he can't break Ship 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ship trying to keep a closed guard but Gloom is proving a slippery customer.
Ship is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ship is continuing to stall. Gloom wants to stand but Ship is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gloom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gloom blocks a jab. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gloom with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ship misses with an uppercut
and Gloom counters with a body kick that stops Ship in his tracks momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gloom motions for Ship to come forward. Gloom throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gloom feints and as Ship raises his hands in defense, Gloom changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ship is on top in guard.
Ship is working Gloom over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ship chips away with some ground and pound. Ship trying to control the position from guard on top but Gloom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ship lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ship got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gloom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ship has managed to get both his arms back between Gloom's legs - danger averted. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ship throws a big elbow that misses.

Ship might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Ship closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ship prevents Gloom from improving his position. Ship takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ship working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Gloom's thigh. Gloom counters though and makes it back to full guard. Ship working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ship missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gloom keeping moving, preventing Ship from controlling successfully. Gloom looking for a guillotine here but Ship defends easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A slow jab from Ship misses its intended target. Gloom ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ship avoids the body shot from Gloom.
Ship throws a jab but it's blocked by Gloom. Gloom throws a chopping leg kick but Ship manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ship throws a looping overhand right but Gloom ducks down to avoid it. Gloom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ship . Gloom paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ship keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ship working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gloom gets full guard. Ship working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gloom's head. Gloom pushes a forearm under Ship 's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ship is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. Psycho Ship spoke after the fight, saying 'THE SHIP WILL BE BACK TO DOMINATE ALL '.
