Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braigen Garrindon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Park! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braigen Garrindon! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garrindon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Park paws at him with a jab and circles away. Garrindon tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Park is able to avoid easily. Garrindon has Park up against the cage in a clinch.
Garrindon pushes off an throws an elbow but Park leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Garrindon is trying to break the clinch but Park has him pressed against the cage. Garrindon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Park has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Garrindon throws a punch but it's blocked by Park. Garrindon tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garrindon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Park smiles and moves away.
Park digs a good hook to Garrindon's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garrindon drives through with a takedown into Park's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Park is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Garrindon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Park swivels though and keeps the full guard. Garrindon stays in close to Park's body and controls the position. Garrindon looking to pass the guard. Garrindon stands up and waves to Park to follow him. Garrindon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Park shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Garrindon as he avoids it easily. Nice body punch from Park. Garrindon with a poor takedown and Park counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Garrindon thinking. Randy Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braigen Garrindon. Garrindon shoots in looking for a takedown. Park tries to sprawl out of it but Garrindon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Park manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Garrindon tries to clinch there but Park circles away.
Park throws a sloppy head kick and Garrindon moves out of range easily. Park listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Garrindon has a takedown stuffed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Park lands a nice shot that snaps Garrindon's head back.
Park bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Garrindon's head backwards. Park throws a sloppy head kick and Garrindon moves out of range easily. Garrindon dives in and grabs Park's left leg, looking for a takedown. Park pushes down on Garrindon's head and hops out. Park lands a nice shot to the body.
Garrindon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Park displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Garrindon. Garrindon fails to land the takedown. Park throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Garrindon's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Park misses with a takedown and Garrindon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Park bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Garrindon's head backwards. Braigen Garrindon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice defenses there by Park. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Park misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Garrindon pushes Park up against the cage in a clinch. Garrindon jumps into guard, dragging Park to the mat.
Garrindon is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Garrindon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Randy Park will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Park gets caught napping as Garrindon dives in and scores a takedown. Park manages to retain guard. Garrindon advances position into side control! Park pushes Garrindon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Garrindon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Garrindon works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Park could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A lull in the action here as Garrindon stalls from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garrindon wants to control but Park is keeping him busy. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Park pushes Garrindon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Garrindon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Park parries the strikes from Garrindon easily there. Garrindon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Park to escape.
Garrindon decides to stand back up. Garrindon steps back and let's Park get back to his feet. Garrindon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Garrindon tries to clinch but Park is having none of it. Garrindon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Park defends it nicely. Park lands with a slapping head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garrindon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Park momentarily.
It looks like Randy Park has been cut. The fighters circle momentarily. Park darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Garrindon lands a right hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Garrindon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Garrindon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Garrindon just content to control the position. Garrindon has control of an arm but Park manages to advance to Garrindon's back! Garrindon just trying to survive but Park is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Park is trying to stick to Garrindon's back but Garrindon is turning into Park. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Park's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Garrindon. Garrindon advances position into side control! Garrindon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Park is trying to get back to his feet. Park tries to control but Garrindon manages to take his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garrindon is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Garrindon is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Garrindon gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Garrindon gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Garrindon apologises and we restart here on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garrindon throws a wild body kick that Park sees coming a mile off. Garrindon gets the takedown into side control. Garrindon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Park looks calm but he's in trouble here. Garrindon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Park is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Garrindon lets go of the hold and Park can pop his arm back in it's socket.
