Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Mandrill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denzel Sarfo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ludwig Mandrill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Denzel Sarfo! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sarfo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mandrill is out of range and Sarfo settles back down. Sarfo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mandrill. Mandrill is looking to counter with head kicks. A lazy left from Mandrill finds it's target. Mandrill moves out of range of the leg kick from Sarfo. Mandrill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sarfo on the side of the head. Denzel Sarfo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mandrill throws a leg kick that misses. Sarfo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mandrill connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Mandrill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sarfo can pounce on him.
Mandrill is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Sarfo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mandrill.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Sarfo. Mandrill lands a jab to the head.
Mandrill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A slapping leg kick lands for Sarfo.
Sarfo throws a sloppy head kick and Mandrill moves out of range easily. A low kick from Sarfo is predictable there and Mandrill counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mandrill is trying to work for a kimura but Sarfo is defending well.
Sarfo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mandrill is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sarfo defends it well. Mandrill wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sarfo is trying is best to control the position here. Mandrill is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sarfo has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mandrill is looking for submissions but instead, Sarfo has regained full guard.
Mandrill pushing down on Sarfo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sarfo wants to improve his position but Mandrill is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mandrill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mandrill decides to return to a standing position. Mandrill looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Mandrill takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The fighters circling - Sarfo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sarfo tried to score with a low kick but Mandrill checks it. Mandrill feinted with a counter takedown. Mandrill lands an overhand right.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mandrill has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sarfo finds it's way round the side to connect with Mandrill's head. Mandrill misses the shot to the body. Sarfo throws the kick towards the body but Mandrill avoids it. Sarfo just misses with a punch to the body.
Sarfo throws a front kick aimed at Mandrill's knee but Mandrill avoids it well. Mandrill throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sarfo avoids it. Mandrill gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mandrill tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Sarfo is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mandrill buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mandrill!! Mandrill is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Sarfo throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denzel Sarfo!
