The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Born doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Me decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Born's guard.
Born is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Born tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Me must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Born has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Me is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Born.

Born could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Me tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Me has an Americana. Born didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Me is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Me hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Yu Me!
A determined Yu Me didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
