Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toktogulovich Bakiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters comes to the cage accompanied by Simply the Best. Ken Masters is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toktogulovich Bakiyev!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Masters on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Masters fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bakiyev manages to avoid it.
Masters shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bakiyev defends it nicely.

Masters goes for a double leg but Bakiyev avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bakiyev continues to drive forward.

That was a close round but I would say that Ken Masters will probably get the nod.

Toktogulovich Bakiyev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Masters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've been hearing that Masters has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Masters throws an elbow that misses. Bakiyev uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Masters 's guard. Nice move by Bakiyev!

Masters trying to control the position from guard on top but Bakiyev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Masters is in close to Bakiyev's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bakiyev wants to stand and escape but Masters is having none of it.
Masters wants to control from the top but Bakiyev keeps moving.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

enabling Bakiyev to counter with a crisp jab.
Bakiyev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Masters takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Some bone on bone action there as Bakiyev checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Bakiyev makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bakiyev scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Toktogulovich Bakiyev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bakiyev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Toktogulovich Bakiyev made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
The defeated Ken Masters had this to say: 'Man.... I thought I had him... Just goes to show anyone can beat anyone on the night. Next time!!'.
