The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bakiyev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bakiyev checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bakiyev swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bakiyev lands a nice looking body shot.
Bakiyev moves out of range as Conway strikes.
Bakiyev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Conway.
Bakiyev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Conway was well out of range. Poor timing from Bakiyev.
Conway throws a lazy right hand but Bakiyev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mark Conway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conway misses with a left hand
and Bakiyev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Conway lands a left and a right that send Bakiyev crashing to the mat, dazed. Conway thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Conway looks to land a body kick but Bakiyev moved away.
