The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Crawford wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Foster misses with a looping right.
Foster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Foster throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Crawford to counter with a crisp jab.
Foster tries to land a front kick but Crawford steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Crawford was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Crawford throws a big shot that misses.
Crawford uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Foster.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Foster has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Foster has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Crawford finds it's way round the side to connect with Foster's head.

and Crawford counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Foster thinking.
Foster throws a poor cross that misses
and Foster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Foster is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Foster extends the arm and Crawford is forced to tap!
