Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seb Freeth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Seb Freeth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Wilson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson moves into the clinch successfully.
Wilson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Freeth is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Wilson is defending well for now.
Wilson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Wilson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wilson manages to end up in side control.
Freeth struggling a bit here.
Freeth is looking to regain half guard here but Wilson keeps moving and retains side control.
Wilson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Freeth is looking for a sweep.
Wilson cracks Freeth with a big elbow.
Freeth is not content to let Wilson control the position.
Wilson lands a few punches from side control.

Wilson trying to control the action but Freeth is working from the bottom.
Wilson lands a nice forearm strike.
Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Freeth keeps working.
Freeth taking punishment in the form of punches.
Freeth on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Wilson wants to control but Freeth is keeping him busy.

Wilson swings around for an armbar but Freeth sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wilson's guard.

Wilson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Freeth defends well.
Freeth is fighting to break Wilson's control of his arms but Wilson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wilson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Freeth is one step ahead there.

Wilson wants to improve his position but Freeth is controlling well.
Freeth wants to control but Wilson is keeping him busy.

Freeth seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson wants to get back to full guard.
Wilson controlling the position well.
Wilson trying to hold on to Freeth's head to control him but Freeth postures up.
Wilson looks like he's trying to stand up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Freeth is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wilson sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Freeth trying to control from half guard but Wilson is working away.

Freeth trying to work for an americana but Wilson has managed to regain full guard.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Freeth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wilson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Freeth defends well.
Freeth tries to free his leg and advance position but Wilson is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Freeth wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.
Wilson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Freeth's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wilson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Wilson dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Wilson avoids a kick to the body.
Wilson shoots in but Freeth avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Freeth keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Wilson shoots in and bounces Freeth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wilson with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freeth swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilson passes Freeth's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Wilson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wilson lands with a punch from half guard.
Freeth is in trouble now - Wilson has advanced to mount!
Wilson working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Freeth tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wilson with the ground and pound from mount.
Wilson breaks from Freeth's wrist control and lands an elbow.


It looks like Seb Freeth has been cut.
Wilson looking to control but Freeth is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Freeth tries to hold on but Wilson postures up.
Wilson with shots to the head and body - Freeth looks very uncomfortable down there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Freeth wants to control but Wilson is having none of it.
Wilson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Wilson cracks Freeth with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
