Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galu Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galu Li is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellis Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Galu Li! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li tries to sprawl but Miller drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller slips a nice elbow through Li's hands, connecting with Li's forehead. Li wants to get back to full guard. Li has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Miller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Miller is looking to advance position but Li won't allow it. Li tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg. Li is trying to maintain the position but Miller is very close to passing his half guard. Li wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller slips a nice elbow through Li's hands, connecting with Li's forehead. Li actively working from the bottom here. Miller is pressing down on Li's thigh, looking to free his foot. Li is holding on for now. Li is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller prevents Li from improving his position. Miller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Miller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Li defending well though. Miller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Miller not landing any meaningful shots this time. Li looking for submissions off his back. Li is trying to control but can't.
Miller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Li keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Li looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Miller scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Li gets full guard. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller won't allow Li to sweep him here. Miller postures up.
Li has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Li throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Miller working some strikes from top position. Li controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself. Miller lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there. Miller scoring with some ground and pound. Miller lands a couple of digs. Li manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.
Li pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.
Miller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Miller scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller postures up.
Li has Miller pulled in close to control his posture. Miller throws a big elbow that misses. Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Li has wrist control. Li preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Li keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Li looking to control.
Miller trying to control but Li is working from the bottom. Li has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miller distracts Li with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Miller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ellis Miller dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
No luck for Miller with that takedown attempt. Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Miller slaps away a takedown attempt from Li, before circling back to the center of the mat. Miller walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Li checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Miller with a poor takedown and Li counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The fighters circling - Li throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Li shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense. Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Li moves out of range easily. A little jabbing left from Li on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Miller scores with a jab to the head.
Miller lands a nice leg kick that just misses Li's sensitive parts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Miller. Miller obviously looking to wear him down.
Li fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miller avoids it really well and circles away. Ellis Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Galu Li. Li shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miller but Miller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Li is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Li changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Li manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Li chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miller can pounce on him.
Li shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense. Miller cracks Li with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Li tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Miller pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Li is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ellis Miller!
