Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julle Hallava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cavan Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hallava comes to the cage accompanied by Nightcall. Cartwright is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Irish Fighting Song. Cavan Cartwright is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Julle Hallava!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cavan Cartwright!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright slips a jab and a cross from Hallava.
A punch combination from Hallava misses.
Cartwright tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hallava counters with a two punch combo.
Hallava seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Cartwright checks a leg kick.
Cartwright drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hallava defends it well.
Hallava feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cartwright's calf.
Hallava throws a sloppy head kick and Cartwright moves out of range easily.
Cartwright fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hallava tried to counter with a leg kick but Cartwright avoided it.
Cartwright shoots in for a double leg but Hallava sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hallava connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hallava finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cartwright takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cartwright tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hallava paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Hallava wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hallava feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cartwright's calf.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cartwright stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hallava.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cartwright shoots in looking for a takedown but Hallava manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cartwright's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hallava looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Hallava takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cartwright walks into a straight right hand from Hallava.
Cartwright is rocked!
Hallava wants to slow Cartwright down by chopping away at his legs.
Cartwright shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cartwright showed some decent athleticism there.
Hallava is looking for a sweep. Cartwright is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hallava is trying to control but can't.
Cartwright thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hallava's head.
Hallava looking for submissions off his back.
Hallava wants to control but Cartwright is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cartwright trying to control the action but Hallava is working from the bottom.
Hallava is pressing down on Cartwright's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cartwright trying to control the position from guard on top but Hallava is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cartwright keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hallava's head.
Cartwright stands and throws Hallava's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hallava manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cartwright wants to pass to mount but Hallava is defending the position.
Hallava trying to control but Cartwright postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cartwright thows a huge punch but Hallava dodges it nicely.
Cartwright missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Cartwright is thwarting Hallava's attempts to control the position.
Hallava tries to get to full guard but Cartwright has control of the leg.
Cartwright throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hallava to regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hallava had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cartwright defends it easily.
Hallava is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cartwright content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hallava has locked up a guillotine! Hallava's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cartwright is holding on here and Hallava must be using up a lot of energy. Cartwright has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hallava gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Julle Hallava was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Cavan Cartwright stepped up to the mic, saying 'I gave it my best. I will find a way to do better next time.'.
