Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boshtok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boshtok's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jump Around M*thaf*cka. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Boshtok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Heath!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath with a nice cross.

Heath shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Heath controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Boshtok on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boshtok tries to get out of the position.
Heath slips nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boshtok tries to roll over but Heath keeps him under control.
Heath perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Heath's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Boshtok is refusing to be controlled, as Heath sits in half guard.

Boshtok looking to hit a scissor sweep but Heath is one step ahead there.

Heath is thwarting Boshtok's attempts to control the position.
Well, if Heath is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Boshtok moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Heath wants to control from the top but Boshtok keeps moving.
Heath must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Heath might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boshtok haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Boshtok manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heath manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boshtok is in close to Heath's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heath is refusing to be controlled, as Boshtok sits in half guard.
Heath wants to get back to full guard.
Heath is staying active underneath Boshtok, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Heath felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Heath keeping moving, preventing Boshtok from controlling successfully.

Boshtok working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Heath's head.

Heath working for a triangle but Boshtok defends it easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boshtok content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Heath is pulling down on Boshtok's head to control his posture.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuri Boshtok dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Boshtok misses with a takedown
and Heath counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Heath thows a leg kick but Boshtok checks it
and Boshtok counters with a left right combination that sends Heath crashing to the mat - Boshtok wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Heath out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Boshtok!
During a confident post fight interview, Yuri Boshtok thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
