Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mike Hunt has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Hunt seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Smith!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hunt, pushing him back against the cage.
Hunt tries to pull guard but Smith forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Hunt fails to pull guard.
Smith misses with a knee strike.
Hunt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hunt tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smith smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith moves into the clinch.
Hunt fails to pull guard.
Hunt fails to pull guard.
Smith gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Smith with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Smith.
It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut.
Hunt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Hunt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hunt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Smith looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Smith wants to counter the offense by Hunt and move into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Hunt collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Matt Smith!
Matt Smith decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
