Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Carlyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCracken has chosen Rebels Song - Come out and Fight as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Carlyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McCracken! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCracken waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carlyle. A head kick from Carlyle lands but McCracken takes it in his stride. McCracken darts in trying to clinch and Carlyle counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. McCracken manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carlyle on his heels. He'll look to pass Carlyle's guard now, I'm sure. Carlyle tries to land a sweep but no joy. Carlyle is controlling McCracken's posture. McCracken advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlyle is not content to let McCracken control the position. McCracken is working for a kimura but Carlyle is defending it quite comfortably.
McCracken is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. McCracken prevents Carlyle from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carlyle is working hard here to advance position. McCracken seems to be looking for submissions.
Carlyle controlling the position well. Carlyle is refusing to be controlled, as McCracken sits in half guard. McCracken trying to mount his opponent but Carlyle defends it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carlyle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McCracken is working away from the top position though.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. McCracken throws a sloppy body shot
and Carlyle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A big right from McCracken misses. McCracken just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromCarlyle. Carlyle looks to land a body kick but McCracken moved away. Nice sprawl there from Carlyle as McCracken shoots in. McCracken tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A head kick from Carlyle lands but McCracken takes it in his stride. McCracken changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carlyle tries to avoid it but McCracken manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carlyle to the ground. Carlyle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCracken has a takedown stuffed. Charles Carlyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor McCracken. Carlyle throws a head kick but McCracken moves out of range.
McCracken is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Carlyle lands a jab to McCracken's midsection. Carlyle connects with a looping right hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McCracken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carlyle was well out of range. and McCracken decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carlyle's guard. McCracken content to stall in guard here. McCracken advances position into side control! Carlyle is not content to let McCracken control the position. Carlyle is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCracken has knee on belly momentarily but Carlyle bucks him off and regains half guard. Carlyle makes his way to full guard, as McCracken worked for a kimura.
McCracken sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carlyle's guard. McCracken is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carlyle is controlling McCracken's trapped leg to prevent McCracken from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCracken trying to control the action but Carlyle is working from the bottom. Carlyle is defending against the submission attempts here by McCracken.
McCracken wants to work for an arm triangle but Carlyle is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McCracken is trying to control. Carlyle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. McCracken tries to pass to full mount but Carlyle defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Carlyle is trying is best to control the position here. McCracken is pressing down on Carlyle's thigh, looking to free his foot. Carlyle is holding on for now. McCracken is keen to just control but Carlyle is a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. McCracken misses with a series of wild punches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McCracken gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Carlyle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Conor McCracken showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Conor McCracken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCracken avoids a lazy jab quite easily. McCracken drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Carlyle defends it well. Charles Carlyle is winning the standup battle so far. Carlyle avoids the body shot from McCracken.

McCracken dives in for a single leg takedown but Carlyle sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Carlyle scores with a hook. Carlyle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. McCracken is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carlyle. Carlyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCracken was well out of range. Poor timing from Carlyle. McCracken with the counter takedown but Carlyle avoids it easily. Carlyle avoids the body shot from McCracken.

Carlyle stuffs the takedown. Carlyle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McCracken on the side of the head. Carlyle with a body punch. A glancing blow. McCracken scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McCracken throws a lazy right hand but Carlyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McCracken takes a shot right to the bread basket. Carlyle misses with an uppercut. McCracken saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCracken takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
McCracken shoots in for a takedown but Carlyle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Charles Carlyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor McCracken. Carlyle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCracken circles away quickly and effectively. McCracken defending well as Carlyle loads up on a big left hand. McCracken throws a body punch but Carlyle moves out of range. Carlyle lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. McCracken avoids the body shot from Carlyle.
Carlyle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A left and a right from Carlyle both land. Nice combination.
McCracken is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCracken looks to score with a jab to the body but Carlyle is just out of range. Carlyle appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. McCracken is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carlyle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McCracken ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carlyle moves away. Carlyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCracken.
Carlyle misses with a looping right. Carlyle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carlyle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCracken manages to avoid it. Carlyle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Charles Carlyle showed his dominance in that final round. I think Carlyle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
