Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Scrooge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holt's entrance music is Brooklyn Nine-Nine Theme Song. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond Holt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Sebastian Scrooge!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt throws an overhand right that lands on Scrooge's shoulder, as Scrooge tries to avoid the shot.
Holt throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Holt with a nice cross.
Raymond Holt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scrooge avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holt listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Holt throws a nice looking combination but Scrooge bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Scrooge tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Scrooge has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

The fighters circle momentarily. Holt darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Holt looks to score with a jab to the body but Scrooge is just out of range.
No joy there for Holt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Scrooge goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Holt has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Scrooge but great work by Holt.

Scrooge escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Scrooge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Holt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Scrooge not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Holt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scrooge works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Holt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Scrooge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holt's waist but Holt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scrooge off to one side.
Holt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Scrooge takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Holt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scrooge postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Holt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Scrooge, into his guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Holt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
