Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Malaipet Sasiprapa!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Sasiprapa.
Tsushima shoots in but Sasiprapa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sasiprapa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tsushima is out of range and Sasiprapa settles back down.
Tsushima tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sasiprapa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tsushima somewhat.
Tsushima shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sasiprapa defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chibi Tsushima. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sasiprapa throws a head kick that misses.
Tsushima has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tsushima shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sasiprapa but Sasiprapa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tsushima fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsushima drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Chibi Tsushima has been cut.
Tsushima tries for a takedown but Sasiprapa circles away easily
and Sasiprapa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tsushima is rocked!
Tsushima shoots for a double leg takedown but Sasiprapa sprawls well. He's pushed Tsushima's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oh Tsushima is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sasiprapa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tsushima avoids the head kick by Sasiprapa.
Sasiprapa drops Tsushima with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Tsushima! Sasiprapa dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
