Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Slapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eoghan Condon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Slapper looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Slapper connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Slapper throws a shot from downtown. Condon moves away and avoids it.
Condon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Slapper slips a jab from Condon.
Slapper throws an overhand right that lands on Condon's shoulder, as Condon tries to avoid the shot.
Slapper pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Condon lands with a nice combination. Slapper backs away looking to recover.
Sam Slapper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Condon throws a jab but it's blocked by Slapper.

Slapper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Condon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slapper throws out the jab.

Condon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Condon has managed to clinch.
Condon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Slapper lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Condon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Slapper pushes Condon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Condon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Slapper pulls his leg out and moves away.
Slapper lands with a straight right. Condon didn't see that one coming.

Slapper slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slapper paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Condon walks into a stiff left hand from Slapper.
Condon is rocked!
Condon is holding his hands too far apart here. Slapper throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Condon is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
