Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sutter Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Pahlm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pahlm is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Peace Love & Pitbulls - Dog Church . Sutter Cane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johan Pahlm's chin.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johan Pahlm! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pahlm goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Pahlm misses with a leg kick and Cane counters with a leg kick. Cane moves away from the strike by Pahlm. Cane throws a head kick but Pahlm moves out of range.
Pahlm looks to land a right hand but Cane moved out of range. Pahlm goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cane works Pahlm's body with a nice hook. Pahlm tries to clinch but Cane is having none of it. Pahlm doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A solid leg kick lands there for Pahlm.
Pahlm throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Pahlm throws a front kick aimed at Cane's knee but Cane avoids it well. Johan Pahlm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Cane 's head but he takes it in his stride. Cane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cane jabs Pahlm to the body, keeping him at a distance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pahlm misses with a hook. Cane ducks under a wild hook from Pahlm. Cane uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pahlm. Pahlm throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pahlm. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cane checks a leg kick. Cane scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Pahlm misses with a low kick. Pahlm misses with a right hand and Cane finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A big right from Pahlm misses. Pahlm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cane. Pahlm tries to clinch there but Cane circles away.
Pahlm throws a nice inside leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pahlm, right into the meat.
Cane bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Some bone on bone action there as Cane checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Cane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pahlm. Nice jab there from Pahlm. Cane moves out of range of the leg kick from Pahlm. Pahlm throws a half hearted mid kick. Pahlm's coach down at Facebreaker Academy - Striking was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pahlm's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cane checks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Cane. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cane. Cane throws the left hand but Pahlm avoids the punch easily. Pahlm with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Pahlm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cane checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Pahlm tried to score with a low kick but Cane checks it. Pahlm takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cane lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A punch lands to the side of Pahlm 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pahlm throws a looping overhand right but Cane ducks down to avoid it. Cane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pahlm. Pahlm tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. The fighters circling - Pahlm throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Pahlm throws a wild body kick that Cane sees coming a mile off. Pahlm tries to score with a low kick but Cane moves his leg out of the way. Cane throws a nice outside leg kick. Cane scores with a spinning back kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pahlm throws a leg kick that misses. Cane just misses with a punch to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Cane as he connects with a hook. Pahlm takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cane misses with a straight right. Nice cross by Cane. Pahlm is looking to chop away at Cane's legs. Cane thumps Pahlm with a low kick. Pahlm throws a lazy head kick and Cane counters with a nice body kick.
Cane steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pahlm. Pahlm throws a head kick that Cane semi-blocks.
Pahlm throws a leg kick but Cane moved away. Pahlm throws out a loose jab but Cane uses good head movement to avoid it. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pahlm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cane - the referee stops the clock and Pahlm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cane. Pahlm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. This has been an exciting period of action! Pahlm goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Pahlm tries to land a front kick but Cane steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pahlm throws a leg kick that misses. Pahlm shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cane checks a leg kick. Pahlm takes a shot right to the bread basket. Pahlm misses with an uppercut
and Cane makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cane defending well as Pahlm loads up on a big left hand. Cane looks to land a body kick but Pahlm moved away. Pahlm takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cane connects with a solid leg kick. Pahlm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pahlm walks into a stiff left hand from Cane. Cane avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cane connects with a leg kick. Pahlm looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cane throws a sloppy head kick and Pahlm moves out of range easily. Cane misses with a body kick. Pahlm throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cane. Pahlm tries to clinch up but Cane circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sutter Cane dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pahlm walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cane checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Pahlm throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cane counters with an inside leg kick. Good standup being displayed there by Cane as he connects with a hook. Pahlm throws the kick towards the body but Cane avoids it. Cane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Cane lands a body shot.
Cane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pahlm throws a jab but it's blocked by Cane. Cane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pahlm can do to turn this around? Cane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sutter Cane is winning the standup battle so far. Cane lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pahlm at a distance.
Cane explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Pahlm throws a wild body kick that Cane sees coming a mile off. Nice body kick from Cane. Pahlm has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Cane. Jab, jab by Cane - just one landing. This has been an exciting period of action! Cane lands a nice looking body kick. Cane with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Pahlm takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cane scores with a push kick. Pahlm ducks right into an uppercut from Cane. Cane swats away the attempt to clinch by Pahlm. Pahlm misses with a wild combination.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cane. Pahlm steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cane. Pahlm throws a quick inside leg kick. Pahlm throws a hook but Cane avoids it easily. Pahlm tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Pahlm smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Cane slips under a jab. Cane scores with a decent looking hook. Cane throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cane is looking to land body kicks. Cane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pahlm in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Pahlm throws a low kick but Cane moves out of range easily. Cane checks a leg kick. A big right from Pahlm misses. Pahlm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pahlm avoids the body shot from Cane.

Cane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pahlm has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Pahlm pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cane lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pahlm will feel that in the morning. Pahlm is breathing heavily. Cane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. It looks like Cane has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Cane lands with a straight right. Pahlm didn't see that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pahlm throws out a leg kick but Cane moves out of range and Pahlm only half commits. Pahlm throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pahlm has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Cane scores with the left hand. Pahlm knows he should have avoided that one. Pahlm tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cane is able to avoid easily. Pahlm misses with a straight left. Pahlm fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cane checks it well. Pahlm throws a solid leg kick but Cane takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pahlm. Cane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cane lands with a right hand. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cane punishes Pahlm's body with a nice straight punch. Cane slips a straight right by Pahlm. Pahlm on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Cane chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pahlm's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Cane cracks Pahlm with a good jab. Pahlm misses with a hook. Cane ducked under it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cane lands a front kick. A left lands for Cane. Cane jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Pahlm throws a wild body kick that Cane sees coming a mile off. Pahlm throws a leg kick and Cane counters with a thumping low kick. Cane lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Pahlm is rocked! Pahlm throws a leg kick and Cane counters with an inside leg kick. Pahlm is still on wobbly legs! Can Cane finish him? Cane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pahlm momentarily.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Pahlm might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Cane has got the better of the exchanges. It's a brutal combination of punches from Cane! Pahlm is backing up but he can't get away as Cane lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Pahlm and ends the fight. Great knockout.
