Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Happy Day. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Bane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derick Steve! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steve tries to avoid it but Bane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steve to the ground. Steve escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Steve fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Steve misses with a head kick.
Bane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Steve looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bane is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steve has escaped the position, nice work there. Bane is trying to move to mount but Steve reverses beautifully and ends up in Bane's guard. Bane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steve can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steve wants to get up but he can't break Bane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Steve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Steve is aware though and is defending well. Bane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steve can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Steve preventing the sweep. Bane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Steve wants to stand but Bane is controlling his posture from full guard. Bane pushes a forearm under Steve's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Steve is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Billy Bane! After winning the bout, Billy Bane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. In defeat, Derick Steve stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back. '.
