Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Clock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Jel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Clock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wojtek Jel!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jel lands a nice shot to the body.
Jel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clock but Clock pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jel misses with a combination
and Jel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jel looks to land a combination but Clock avoids it well.
Clock looks to score with a jab to the body but Jel is just out of range.
Jel tries to bum rush Clock with a series of wild strikes but Clock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Clock swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jel tries for a takedown but Clock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clock sizes up Jel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jel shoots in for a takedown but Clock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Clock appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jerry Clock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wojtek Jel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jel throws a series of strikes that have Clock backpedaling.


It looks like Jerry Clock has been cut.
Jel doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Clock counters with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jel throws a one two combo.

Clock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Clock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jel wants to sweep but no luck.

Clock drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Clock has Jel in his guard.

Jel trying to control the position from guard on top but Clock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Clock isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jel stacks Clock on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jel!

Jel is trying to ground and pound but Clock uses the momentary lack of control by Jel to regain half guard.
Jel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Clock is trying to stand.
Jel is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Jel thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jel trying to control from Clock's half guard. Clock has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Jel wanted to stand there but Clock had control of the position.
Clock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clock tries to get out of the position.
Clock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jel manages to get himself to full guard.

Clock not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jel wants to stand and escape but Clock is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The crowd cheers as Jel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Clock doesn't seem phased though.
Jel throws a right and a left that Clock avoids nicely.
Clock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jel scores with a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Wojtek Jel will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Clock dives in and scores a takedown into Jel's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Clock stays in close to Jel's body and controls the position.

Clock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Clock postures up in Jel's guard and throws a big left but Jel blocks it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jerry Clock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Clock in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Clock looks for a takedown but Jel sprawls well.
Wojtek Jel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jel dives in for a single leg takedown but Clock sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Clock lands a nice hook to Jel's body. Jel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Despite the aggression on Jel's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jel fails with a takedown attempt.

Clock connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Clock lands with a straight right. Jel didn't see that one coming.
Jel slips under a jab.
Jel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Jel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clock.
Jel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clock circles away quickly and effectively.
Clock scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Clock feinted with a counter takedown.

Clock drives through with a takedown into Jel's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Clock stays in close to Jel's body and controls the position.

Clock gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jel. Clock does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Clock was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jel.
Jel throws a right hand that Clock ducks under and follows up with a left that Clock also avoids with ease.
Clock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Some wild striking there from Jel.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Clock lunges at Jel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jel's hand.
Jel is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Clock rather than just go for the knockout.
Jel misses with a left hand

and Clock counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Clock's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Jel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Clock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jel has time to react.

Clock shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Clock stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jel to get to his feet.

Clock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jel napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Jel is trying to improve his position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Clock tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Clock is trying to move to mount but Jel reverses beautifully and ends up in Clock's guard.
Jel looking to sit in guard and control but Clock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Clock throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Clock is looking to work some ground and pound but Jel has wrist control.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jerry Clock showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Clock has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
