Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Brum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerald Doyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fernando Brum! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brum tries to clinch but Doyle moves out of range. A momentary lapse in concentration from Doyle enables Brum to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Doyle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Brum sitting in guard, not really doing much. Doyle wants to stand but Brum is controlling the position. Brum got a little sloppy there for a moment and Doyle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brum has managed to get both his arms back between Doyle's legs - danger averted. Doyle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brum tries to stand but Doyle is controlling from the bottom. Brum sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brum would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Brum is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Brum doesn't manage to clinch there - Doyle circles away.
Brum fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doyle, pushing him back against the cage. A short left from Brum. Brum lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Doyle or not. A nice right hand lands inside from Brum. Doyle takes a shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brum lands a body punch. Doyle is breathing heavily. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Brum cracks Doyle with a nice body shot. Brum lands a hook that snaps the head of Doyle backwards. Brum lands an elbow that stopped Doyle in his tracks for a moment.
Doyle is rocked!
It looks like Gerald Doyle has been cut. Brum is working Doyle over against the cage. Oh Doyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brum unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Doyle! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Brum is unloading with more strikes now! Doyle drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fernando Brum!
